The Swedish History Days is a non-profit organization, founded in 1993, which through annual conferences seeks to promote interest in history and strengthen the importance of the subject. The regular meetings aim to create and maintain contacts between representatives of historical research, museum and archive institutions, book publishers school education and the general public interested in history, and are held in a different location each year (mostly in Sweden, but also in Finland, Germany and the Baltic countries, i.e. parts of historical Sweden).
