The Söderberg Prize

The Söderberg Prize, worth SEK 1 million, is awarded every two years to outstanding researchers in economics or law and every two years in medicine. The prize is intended to highlight outstanding achievements in each field and to stimulate further research and development.

The Söderberg Prize

Recipients of the Söderberg Prize in Economics and Law are appointed by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. The recipient of the Söderberg Prize in Medicine is appointed by the Swedish Medical Association. The prize is awarded for contributions of high scientific value and primarily those whose effects have become apparent within the last ten years.

The winner will be given the opportunity to organize a scientific symposium in connection with the award ceremony.
