The award ceremony and prize lectures took place on May 10, at Yasuragi Hasseludden, outside Stockholm, in connection with the Swedish Trade Federation's Annual General Meeting.
Anders Lönner
After graduating from Lund University in 1971, Anders Lönner began his career in the pharmaceutical industry. Between 1991 and 1996 he was Vice President of Astra AB with responsibility for the Group's Nordic operations. Lönner was previously CEO of the research company KaroBio. In 1999, he took over Meda AB, which has had a very positive development ever since. Anders Lönner passed away in 2018.
