The Tekniska museet Foundation tells a story about the emergence of modern Sweden and the importance of technology and trade for it. This is done through the museum's largest exhibition initiative ever. The museum has taken the help of new research where the ambition is to give young people in particular, but also older people, the conditions to think in a dystopian time and become curious about how they can help shape their own future based on the journey Sweden has made over the past 150 years. It is an inclusive story that everyone can be part of and contribute to even in the continued creation of Sweden's future. The exhibition opens in April 2026 and concludes the museum's centenary celebrations, which began in December 2023.
