Aeroseum education project

The Aeroseum education project aims to open the flight experience center/museum for education to students from preschool to university level. This is to increase interest, study motivation and understanding in MST - Mathematics, Science and Technology. In the future, our subject areas will cover everything from our cultural heritage to different subject areas according to the new curriculum. In addition to on-site teaching, there will also be opportunities for various types of degree projects and research. A large part of the teaching will be based on practical teaching, which is why we want to build up different stations and environments in an interdisciplinary way. The goal is that we will be able to receive about 300-500 school classes / year. The teaching will be carried out mainly by educators employed at Aeroseum. The background to our project is requests from schools to be able to use Aeroseum's unique environment and content. The school project was started in the fall of 2010 after being granted funds to conduct various types of feasibility studies. The project has gradually grown and the working groups cover expertise from preschool to university and technical college level. The next major step in our school project is to build the planned "stations", equip the Aeroseum with modern information technology, etc. To organize the teaching in a modern, educational way, Aeroseum gets help from Pedagogen, Chalmers, University of Gothenburg and various special educators.
